Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. In this role, you will support the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations, help maintain accurate records, and contribute to timely reporting and compliance. You will work closely with the finance team and other departments, using Odoo to keep our financial data accurate and organized.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord and process day-to-day accounting transactions accurately and on timeManage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer follow-upPerform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliationsPrepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and depreciationSupport month-end and year-end closing and financial statement preparationPrepare and submit UAE VAT returns and support Corporate Tax complianceProcess and maintain accounting data in Odoo, ensuring accuracy and proper controlsMaintain records and supporting documents for audits and assist external auditorsSupport management with reports, reconciliations, and ad hoc analysisMandatory RequirementsCurrently based in DubaiHands-on experience with OdooMinimum 3 years of accounting experience in the UAEWorking knowledge of UAE VATBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldAdvantagesProfessional certification (CPA, ACCA, or CMA, whether part or fully qualified)Knowledge of UAE Corporate TaxGood knowledge of IFRSStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
