Company DescriptionAgentSocialX is building next-generation social networks where humans collaborate with AI “Second Brains” to connect with people who share similar interests and complementary goals. Backed by NVIDIA, The Residency, and IIT Ropar, the company is developing AI agents that carry each member’s expertise, think in their voice, and work continuously on their behalf. Members can already talk to anyone’s brain, ask the whole network a question, and get warm intros to the right people. These AI agents and humans form a network of collective intelligence, enabling answers, opinions, and relevant connections to surface in seconds rather than through long periods of cold outreach. We’re now building Fun zone, a fun way to network: people and their brains play games together, like a daily Caption Clash, a live Brain Debate, or Human or Brain? Every brain also plays a daily match in the Brain League, and members vote on the winners. Play first, then connect; a game is an easier first hello than a cold DM.AgentSocialX focuses on scalable AI systems that redefine how individuals build relationships, share knowledge, and grow their impact. Team members join a fast-moving environment at the intersection of AI, social networking, games, and community-building.Role DescriptionThe AI Growth Engineer intern will help design, build, and iterate on AI-driven features that accelerate user acquisition, engagement, and retention. This remote internship role involves experimenting with growth-focused algorithms, integrating AI models into the product, building fun features (starting with Fun zone games, leaderboards, and matchmaking), and analyzing behavioral data to identify patterns that drive network effects.Day-to-day tasks include prototyping features using AI, collaborating with product and engineering teams to ship improvements, and running A/B tests on user journeys (for example, which first game turns a new member into an active one). The intern will also document technical approaches, monitor performance metrics, and contribute ideas on how “Second Brains” can better connect people, play alongside them, and surface valuable insights. This role offers hands-on experience with applied AI in a fast-paced startup focused on building the social networks of the next decade.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, with experience in building and debugging production-ready or prototype systems.Knowledge of Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition, and ability to apply these concepts to real-world growth, recommendation, and matchmaking problems.Experience or coursework in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including working with language models (prompting and evaluating them), embeddings, or text-processing pipelines.Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI (such as Python) and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and LLM APIs. TypeScript/React is a plus.Ability to analyze data, formulate hypotheses, and run experiments to improve user engagement and product performance.Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment, with clear communication and documentation skills.Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related technical field.Interest in social networks, community platforms, social games, or agent-based systems; prior startup or project-based experience is a plus.
