We are committed to professionalism, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and competitive pricing.Role DescriptionThe Air Freight Pricing Specialist will be responsible for managing air freight pricing activities for import and export shipments, securing competitive rates, negotiating with airlines and overseas agents, and preparing profitable quotations for customers.The role requires a target-oriented professional with strong negotiation skills, excellent market knowledge, and the ability to respond to pricing inquiries within established deadlines. The specialist will work closely with sales, operations, customer service, and finance teams to ensure competitive pricing, profitability, and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesObtain, analyze, and negotiate competitive air freight rates with airlines and overseas agents.Handle air freight import and export pricing inquiries.Prepare accurate, competitive, and profitable quotations within company deadlines.Meet assigned pricing targets, quotation turnaround times, and productivity KPIs.Develop and maintain strong relationships with airlines, agents, and service providers.Monitor market trends, rate fluctuations, and competitor pricing.Support the sales team in securing new business and converting quotations into shipments.Maintain accurate pricing records, rate sheets, and customer quotations.Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth shipment execution and cost accuracy.Follow company pricing policies, SOPs, and applicable international trade regulations.Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum 4 years of hands-on experience exclusively in air freight pricing.Strong knowledge of air freight import and export procedures, airline tariffs, and rate structures.Excellent negotiation skills with airlines and overseas agents.Strong communication and customer service skills.Target-oriented, deadline-driven, and highly focused on time management.Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial skills.Proficiency in MS Excel and freight forwarding pricing or CRM systems.Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade regulations is an advantage.Ability to manage multiple pricing inquiries and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to work on-site in Dubai, UAE.Important: Candidates without a minimum of four years of dedicated air freight pricing experience will not be considered.Performance ExpectationsThe successful candidate must demonstrate:Consistent achievement of assigned pricing targets.Timely responses to customer and agent inquiries.Competitive buying rates and profitable selling prices.Effective negotiation and cost-saving initiatives.Accurate quotations and reliable follow-up.Strong accountability, discipline, and compliance with company SOPs.
