Think characterful spaces, clever use of existing buildings and contemporary workplaces that stand out from the crowd.They're looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant with a passion for sustainability and commercial workplace fit-out experience who can bring fresh ideas, strong technical skills and a genuine interest in how great design translates into a buildable, commercially viable projects.ResponsibilitiesSupport the design and delivery of commercial workplace and office fit-out projects from early concepts through to technical design.Produce and develop architectural drawings, models and coordinated design information using Revit.Contribute to design development, space planning, layouts and material selections.Help develop creative solutions for the refurbishment and repositioning of existing buildings.Work closely with architects, designers, consultants and project teams to coordinate design information.Assist with technical detailing, drawing packages and the resolution of design issues.Balance design quality, functionality, sustainability and commercial considerations throughout the project lifecycle.RequirementsPart II qualification in Architecture.Previous experience working on commercial workplace, office fit-out or refurbishment projects.Good working knowledge of Revit.A strong portfolio demonstrating design ability, technical understanding and relevant commercial projects.An understanding of how architectural concepts develop into coordinated, buildable designs.Strong attention to detail, communication skills and a collaborative approach.If you are interested in learning more, please email claudia@bigblue.uk.com with your CV and Portfolio.
