Tailor my CV for this job โ free๐ข Weโre Hiring | Area Sales Manager - FMCGAre you an experienced sales professional who knows how to lead a team, grow sales, and improve market coverage?A leading company in the tobacco products industry is looking for an Area Sales Manager to lead its retail sales operations and achieve business targets.๐ Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve Sales Targets: Meet sales targets for each brand and each product type (SKU), not just total sales.Track Team Performance: Review monthly KPIs (performance targets) and make sure the team achieves its goals.Grow Sales & Control Costs: Analyze sales results, identify new growth opportunities, and find ways to reduce costs.Lead & Coach the Team: Guide sales supervisors, improve their performance, and help resolve customer issues.Improve Sales Routes: Work with the routing team to check customer locations and ensure sales routes are accurate.Manage Customer Lists: Review customer lists, update customer information, and remove inactive customers from sales routes when needed.Visit the Market: Make regular field visits to assess team performance, understand market conditions, and identify opportunities.Monitor Competitors: Track competitorsโ products and activities and report important market changes.Follow Up on Product Displays: Check product displays and marketing materials at customer locations.Develop Team Skills: Train and coach sales team members to improve their skills and results.Ensure Compliance: Make sure the team follows company policies and procedures.Communicate Effectively: Maintain clear and regular communication with management and team members.โ RequirementsBachelorโs degree in any relevant field.5โ7 years of experience in FMCG retail sales.Strong leadership and team management skills.Customer-focused mindset and a proactive approach.Good decision-making and follow-up skills.Strong communication and conflict management skills.Excellent command of English.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
