Assistant Engineer CAD - 10 Months Contract Role

With more than a decade of experience and a highly skilled team, we are proud to support organizations across the region with tailored workforce solutions.We are currently hiring an Assistant Engineer CAD on behalf of a prestigious client, based in their Dubai office.Job Purpose:Under general supervision, uses CAD and other drafting tools to prepare multi-disciplinary Fitout design drawings to facilitate tendering and Contractor works execution.Interprets and clarifies Engineers and Architects technical notes, instructions and ensures the completeness and accuracy of all data provided and complies with DA CAD production, layering and numbering conventions.Job Responsibilites:Prepare new design and shop drawings of all disciplines (Civil, Architectural, mechanical, electrical & ELV) supporting Fitout activities. Ensuring service coordination across drawings.Obtain and assemble data from various sources to complete architectural, MEP, ELV etc. drawings, 20 visiting job sites to compile measurements, explain drawings to production or construction teams and provide adjustments as necessary.Coordinate structural, electrical and mechanical designs and determine a method of presentation in 20 order to graphically represent building plans.Validate as Built drawings on site and flag to Technical Subject Matter Experts discrepancies for further 20 investigation.On time delivery – liaise with Subject Matter Experts and commit to timescales for document production.Skills & Requirements:Aviation knowledge.Knowledge of MEP services, Architectural and Civil Engineering.Good communication skills.Business knowledge/expertise/awareness.Knowledge of 3D modeling (Software, Sketchup & Revit) will be advantage.UAE driving license are essential.Knowledge of relevant local and international standards /regulations like UBC, ASHRAE, NFPA etc.
