Location: Dublin Ireland | TOP 10The OpportunityWe are looking for a Sustainability Assistant Manager to join a growing sustainability team within a leading professional services environment in Ireland.The team works primarily across sustainability assurance, with additional advisory projects covering reporting readiness, compliance and sustainability reporting.

With a diverse client portfolio and a growing pipeline of work, this is an opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to develop their expertise in a rapidly evolving area of the market.The position is suited to an ACA-qualified professional with Assistant Manager experience, or a strong Senior ready to take the next step in their career.Previous sustainability experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.What You’ll Be DoingManage and contribute to client-facing sustainability engagements, coordinating project delivery and maintaining strong client relationships.Support sustainability assurance assignments across a diverse portfolio of clients.Contribute to advisory projects involving sustainability reporting readiness, reporting requirements and compliance.Work with colleagues to deliver high-quality outputs and support clients in addressing evolving sustainability reporting and regulatory requirements.Contribute to engagements involving frameworks and requirements such as the EU Taxonomy and CSRD, where relevant.Support projects involving carbon accounting and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions where required.Work across a range of industries, including consumer businesses, banking, insurance, financial services, agri-food, manufacturing and technology.What We’re Looking ForACA-qualified accountant.Previous Assistant Manager experience, or experience as a strong Senior who is ready to progress.Experience working directly with clients and coordinating project delivery.Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.The ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to high-quality client deliverables.A genuine interest in sustainability assurance, reporting and regulatory developments.The ability to work collaboratively across different teams and industries.Experience That Would Set You ApartExperience in one or more of the following areas would be beneficial:Sustainability assurance or sustainability advisory.CSRD assurance, reporting readiness or compliance.EU Taxonomy technical requirements.Carbon accounting and greenhouse gas emissions reporting.Sustainability reporting within consumer businesses or financial services.Why Consider This Opportunity?Join a growing sustainability team with a broad client portfolio.Gain exposure to both assurance and advisory engagements.Develop expertise in sustainability reporting and evolving regulatory requirements.Take on client-facing responsibilities and contribute to project delivery.Build your career in a developing area of professional services.Interested?If you are an ACA-qualified accountant looking to build on your assurance or client-facing experience and develop your career in sustainability, we would welcome a conversation.Apply to learn more about the opportunity.
