They should be capable of leading a quality team, maintaining robust quality management systems, resolving production and customer quality issues, and driving measurable improvements in product quality and operational efficiency.This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with hands-on experience in glass processing, quality management systems, and production quality assurance. The successful candidate will lead quality control activities across multiple manufacturing processes, manage the QA/QC team, minimize rejection losses, and ensure that products consistently meet customer specifications and international quality standards.Assistant Manager – QA/QCLocation: Dubai, UAE Industry: Architectural Glass Processing / Manufacturing Department: Quality Assurance & Quality Control Reporting To: Vice President – OperationsSalary - AED 12,000 to AED 15,000 + Benefits + BonusAbout the OpportunityKey ResponsibilitiesOversee quality control across glass cutting, tempering, digital printing, lamination, IGU manufacturing, and dispatch.Lead the QA/QC team and ensure compliance with quality standards and inspection procedures.Conduct internal audits and support external audits under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.Investigate customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Operations, suppliers, and customers on quality-related matters.Monitor quality performance, reduce rejection rates, and drive continuous improvement.Train production teams and ensure compliance with quality procedures.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.7–9 years of relevant experience in glass processing, architectural glass, façade, aluminium systems, or steel fabrication.Proven experience managing a QA/QC team.Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality audits, and quality management systems.Working knowledge of AutoCAD and technical drawings.ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification.Experience with fire-rated doors and systems is an advantage.Key CompetenciesLeadership and people managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationDecision-making and conflict resolutionEffective stakeholder managementOrganization and time managementContinuous improvement and results orientationAccountability, initiative, and business acumen
