Audit Practice Lead

Saiph Business Solutions LLP is a growing professional services firm at Kavungal, Malappuram, run by practising Cost Accountants and Chartered Accountants. We handle accounting, audit, tax, GST, corporate compliance, project finance and virtual CFO work for clients across Kerala and beyond.We want an experienced professional to lead our entire audit practice: own the work, guide the team, and deliver every engagement on time and to quality.What you will doPlan, run and close statutory audits of companies and LLPs, tax audits, GST audits, internal audits, stock and concurrent audits, and cost-audit supportLead and mentor a team of audit assistants and article/semi-qualified staff; allocate work, review files and set standardsReview financial statements, Form 3CD reporting, audit working papers and documentation before partner sign-offTrack every audit deadline and client deliverable through our task management systemBe the main point of contact for clients during audits, and raise issues and findings clearlyBuild checklists, SOPs and review processes to improve audit quality and speedWork with the partners on fee proposals, engagement planning and practice growthWho we are looking forQualified CA or CMA, or semi-qualified CA/CMA with strong audit experience. Hands-on audit experience matters more than the title.Around 5–8+ years of audit experience in a CA/CMA firm, including time leading teams or engagementsSound working knowledge of the Companies Act 2013, accounting standards and Ind AS basics, the Income-tax Act 2025, GST and audit reportingComfortable with Tally Prime and Zoho Books; working knowledge of Excel and audit documentation toolsClear communication in English and Malayalam, and the maturity to manage clients and staffBased in or willing to relocate to Malappuram districtWhat we offerA leadership role with real ownership of the audit verticalCompetitive pay matched to experience, plus a performance incentive policyExposure to a diverse client base and modern, AI-enabled practice toolsA clear growth path in a firm that is expanding
