Basketball Club Manager

Role Description The Basketball Club Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role involves overseeing daily operations of the basketball club, including scheduling practices and games, coordinating facilities, and ensuring equipment and resources are available and maintained. The manager will supervise staff and coaches, manage member registrations, handle inquiries, and support a positive experience for players and families. Responsibilities include organizing training programs, recreational events, and promotions to grow club membership, as well as monitoring budgets, reporting on club performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and safety standards. The manager will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build community partnerships and enhance the club’s reputation.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to lead staff, oversee coaches, and manage daily club operations.Candidates should possess skills in Recreation to plan, organize, and deliver engaging basketball programs and events.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with players, families, partners, and internal teams.Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to ensure a welcoming, responsive, and supportive club environment.Candidates should possess Training skills to support the design and coordination of player development and staff training activities.Experience managing sports clubs or recreational facilities is beneficial.Knowledge of basketball rules, coaching principles, or sports administration is an advantage.Relevant diploma or degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by club activities.
