BIM Manager / BIM Lead

Role Description The BIM Manager / BIM Lead will oversee BIM implementation, standards, and workflows across projects, ensuring consistent and efficient use of Building Information Modeling tools and processes. This full-time, on-site role in Dubai includes leading project BIM coordination meetings, managing federated models, and resolving design and construction clashes with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves developing and maintaining BIM execution plans, setting project-specific modeling guidelines, and mentoring project teams on best practices. The BIM Manager / BIM Lead will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and MEP specialists to support virtual design, model-based quantity take-offs, and accurate documentation. Additional responsibilities include monitoring model quality, supporting technology adoption, and contributing to continuous improvement of BIM processes within the organization and for client teams.QualificationsStrong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and processes, with experience managing complex, multidisciplinary models.Experience in BIM Coordination, including clash detection, issue tracking, and leading coordination workshops across project stakeholders.Background in Virtual Design and construction workflows, including 3D modeling, model-based visualization, and support for design reviews.Knowledge of Architecture, structural, and Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and how they integrate within coordinated BIM models.Experience developing and implementing BIM standards, BIM execution plans, and project guidelines for AEC projects.Proficiency with common BIM and coordination platforms (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 or similar CDEs); familiarity with 4D/5D workflows is beneficial.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to guide and mentor multidisciplinary project teams.Relevant degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; professional certifications in BIM are an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and adapt to evolving project and client needs.
