JOB TITLEBlockchain & Digital Art Specialist — NFTs, Digital Ownership & Web3ABOUT THE JOBDe Art is an independent, internet-based visual arts media platform dedicated to exploring art, artists, and the evolving relationship between culture and technology.We are looking for a technology-oriented Blockchain & Digital Art Specialist to investigate how blockchain technology is transforming the creation, authentication, ownership, and distribution of digital art.The role focuses on NFTs, digital provenance, tokenization, decentralized platforms, and emerging Web3 applications in the visual arts ecosystem. The successful candidate will research new technologies, evaluate relevant platforms, and develop insights into the opportunities and challenges of blockchain-based art.RESPONSIBILITIES- Research blockchain applications in digital art, creative industries, and cultural ecosystems.- Investigate NFT technologies, marketplaces, and digital collectible platforms.- Explore how blockchain can support artwork authentication, provenance tracking, and digital certificates.- Research tokenization and emerging models of digital ownership and art distribution.- Evaluate blockchain networks, smart contracts, and decentralized applications relevant to visual arts.- Explore the relationship between generative AI, NFTs, and blockchain-based creative projects.- Research decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) and their potential role in artist communities and cultural projects.- Analyze emerging Web3 platforms and their impact on artists, collectors, and digital audiences.- Prepare research articles, technical summaries, platform reviews, and editorial proposals.- Identify innovative artists, galleries, and organizations experimenting with blockchain-based art.- Monitor developments in digital ownership, decentralized identity, and Web3 infrastructure.- Investigate copyright, intellectual property, authenticity, and ethical considerations in blockchain-based art.QUALIFICATIONS- Strong interest in visual arts, blockchain technology, and digital culture.- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and decentralized applications.- Familiarity with NFTs, digital collectibles, and Web3 platforms.- Knowledge of smart contracts, token standards, or blockchain explorers is an advantage.- Familiarity with networks such as Ethereum, Polygon, or Tezos is a plus.- Understanding of digital art markets and emerging ownership models.- Strong research, analytical, and information-verification skills.- Ability to explain technical concepts in clear and accessible English.- Interest in the intersection of AI, blockchain, and creative technologies.- Ability to work independently and document research findings.WHAT WE OFFER- An opportunity to contribute to an independent digital visual arts media platform.- Practical research into blockchain and emerging digital art technologies.- Collaboration across visual arts, technology, and digital culture.- Opportunities to explore new models of digital ownership and creative distribution.- A chance to contribute to discussions about the future of art in the decentralized digital economy.HOW TO APPLYPlease email the following materials to farhang@parsikia.ir:- A CV of no more than two pages.- A cover letter of no more than one page explaining your interest in blockchain and digital art.- Links to three relevant projects, research samples, NFT collections, or examples of blockchain-based creative work, where available.- Contact details for two professional references, including their names, roles, and contact information.Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview and may be asked to complete a short, role-specific practical assignment.De Art welcomes applications from qualified candidates with diverse backgrounds who are passionate about visual arts, blockchain technology, digital ownership, and the future of creative industries.
