Cafe Store Manager

JOB SUMMARY:As a "Café Manager," you will be responsible for organizing daily operations and motivating our staff to provide excellent customer service. To be successful in this role, you should have work experience in various coffee shops roles. In addition, you should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays. Ultimately, you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement, and turn our café into a favorite local spot. As a Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar executive team member, we expect you to lead by example and maintain a positive work environment.RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage day-to-day operations of the caféEnsure restaurant-café is always staffed by recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new BOH and FOH staff when necessaryAdvise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer serviceHandle all serious conversations and corrective actions of every team memberTrain employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipmentHandle all scheduling shifts between FOH and BOH staffCoordinate with vendors and order supplies as needed (like takeaway cups, coffee, milk, and other ingredients)Maintain updated records of daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expensesEnsure all food and beverage inventory are being conducted effectively and in a timely manner.Handle and oversee all restaurant-café orders and payments to vendorsAdd new menu items based on seasonality and customers' preferences (for example, vegan coffee drinks)Ensure all restaurant-café areas are clean and tidy as per company guidelinesNurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputationEnsure staff exceeds customer service expectations by always being available to assist when necessary and provide ongoing training and development when necessaryQUALIFICATIONS:A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality is preferredTwo or more years of working in a restaurant- café manager role requiredHands-on experience with professional coffee machinesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent motivational and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to manage operating costs following budgets setComfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as neededExtremely organized and detail-orientedCheck out our website! https://www.cremagourmet.com/Job Type: Full-time
