Chemical Development ManagerDo you want to be part of a team with a real impact on global health?At Noucor, a chemical and pharmaceutical company, we offer you the opportunity to lead projects that reach more than 100 countries worldwide 🌍.We are currently looking for a Chemical Development Manager to join Noucor’s Chemical Development Department.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Synthesis Laboratory and the Chemical Development team, in line with the guidelines established by the Head of Chemical & Pharmaceutical Development, ensuring the successful transfer of technology to the Pilot Plant and other manufacturing units.Lead, oversee, and develop the department’s projects in accordance with established procedures, internal guidelines, and defined processes.Coordinate, supervise, and support technology transfer activities between Chemical Development and the Pilot Plant, following the established framework.Ensure a smooth and comprehensive transfer of technology among the different manufacturing units (Pilot Plant and Industrial Plant).Ensure that Chemical Development - Synthesis meets the objectives and timelines established for each project, as well as production and company requirements.Lead, organize, and motivate the team under their responsibility.Define, together with Project Management and the Head of Chemical & Pharmaceutical Development, the priorities and development timelines for R&D projects.Define and ensure Process Safety parameters within development projects.Participate in the preparation of the Chemical Development API Department budget and manage related investments.Contribute to the feasibility assessment of new development and lifecycle management projects.Identify areas for improvement and collaborate in the implementation of new equipment and investment initiatives, among other projects.Technical support to the Chemical Plant through troubleshooting, process optimization, and the qualification of new raw materials and suppliers, contributing to the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations.RequirementsPhD or Bachelor's/Master's Degree Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
