Wenham Carter have been retained by a growing technology-led services business to secure their new CEO. The client provide both software and services to entities in the public sector and continue to see significant growth in revenue (30% year on year) a healthy EBITDA and growing commercial interest from international parties.The CEO will take clear leadership of a business that is performing well and lead it through its next phase of growth. Initial priorities are:Build a united leadership team and earn credibility across the wider organisation.Develop relationships with key clients and lead with both strategic and commercial judgment.Manage growth in revenue and headcount while protecting the culture: autonomy, low hierarchy, high-quality people and a strong sense of purpose.Help the business navigate its next ownership phase and pursue opportunities in the UK and abroad.We are seeking an experienced CEO or UK/IR GM/MD with experience in a PE-backed services business. The strongest candidates will bring:Experience leading a fast-growing technology services or consultancy business, including scaling headcount without diluting culture.Credibility with private equity and an understanding of a PE-backed growth environment.Strong commercial capability, including senior client relationships and contract negotiation.The people intelligence to lead a highly technical, passionate workforce and build trust through the CEO transition.Familiarity with public-sector clientsCyber-domain knowledge and international experience would be advantages, not absolute requirements.
