Its areas of interest include infrastructure supporting artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), cloud services, and digital asset operations.Position OverviewVolnoryx Platforms, Inc. is seeking an experienced Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead investment strategy, capital allocation, financing, and portfolio development.This executive will evaluate strategic investment opportunities, oversee complex financial transactions, develop relationships with capital providers, and present investment recommendations to the Board of Directors and executive leadership.The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in investment management, infrastructure finance, private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or related fields, along with a demonstrated record of executing significant transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement investment strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.Evaluate investment opportunities, acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and financing proposals.Lead financial modeling, business valuation, due diligence, transaction negotiations, and deal execution.Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, banks, private equity firms, infrastructure funds, family offices, and strategic partners.Oversee equity financing, debt financing, project finance, joint ventures, and capital-raising activities.Monitor portfolio performance, liquidity, investment risk, and capital efficiency.Prepare investment analyses and present recommendations to the Board of Directors and relevant investment committees.Establish and lead investment management and portfolio oversight processes.Coordinate with executive leadership, legal advisers, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.Maintain appropriate investment governance, financial controls, and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.Required QualificationsExtensive professional experience in investment management, infrastructure finance, private equity, investment banking, asset management, corporate development, or a related discipline. 20+ years of relevant experience is preferred.Demonstrated experience leading significant investments, acquisitions, financing transactions, joint ventures, or strategic financial initiatives.Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation methodologies, transaction structuring, due diligence, and negotiation.Familiarity with infrastructure, energy, data centers, AI/HPC, digital assets, or related industries.Established professional relationships with investors, financial institutions, and strategic partners.Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and decision-making skills.Ability to collaborate with executive leadership and financial stakeholders across multiple time zones.High standards of integrity, discretion, accountability, and professional judgment.Preferred ExperienceExperience in one or more of the following areas is beneficial:U.S. power markets, utility interconnection, data center development, or energy project finance.AI infrastructure, GPU cloud platforms, high-performance computing, or liquid-cooled data centers.Digital infrastructure investments, including Bitcoin mining operations.Board-level reporting, investment committees, public companies, or complex project financing structures.Establishing investment management, corporate development, or capital markets functions within a growing organization.Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation package is expected to include:Competitive executive-level compensation.Performance-based bonus opportunities.Potential equity participation or long-term incentive arrangements, subject to the company's compensation structure and applicable terms.Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, transaction history, location, and scope of responsibilities.Work ArrangementThis is a remote executive position based in the United States.
