The Chinese Translator will support real estate and mortgage operations by translating documents, contracts, marketing materials, and client communications between Chinese and English. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting during client meetings, calls, and site visits, ensuring that buyers, sellers, renters, and property owners clearly understand all information. The role involves reviewing translated materials for accuracy and consistency, adapting language to local real estate terminology, and collaborating with sales, property management, and mortgage teams to facilitate smooth communication. The translator will also help prepare bilingual marketing content and assist in maintaining clear, culturally appropriate messaging for Chinese-speaking clients.Qualifications Strong proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and English, with the ability to translate and interpret accurately and clearly.Experience translating legal or business documents, preferably in real estate, property management, or mortgage lending contexts.Knowledge of real estate transactions, rental processes, and basic mortgage and refinancing concepts is highly beneficial.Excellent attention to detail, with strong skills in reviewing and editing translated materials for consistency and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with diverse clients and internal teams on-site.Proficiency with common office and translation tools; familiarity with CRM or property management systems is a plus.Ability to manage multiple translation requests, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
