The firm’s mission is to position landmark properties as premier destinations for business and lifestyle in Addis Ababa.Role Description The Cinematographer is responsible for planning, shooting, and visually crafting high-quality video content that showcases premium properties, marketing campaigns, and corporate initiatives. In this full-time, on-site role based in Addis Ababa, the Cinematographer collaborates closely with the marketing and sales teams to interpret creative briefs, scout locations, and design visual narratives that align with brand objectives. Daily tasks include operating cameras and related equipment, setting up and adjusting lighting, composing shots, and coordinating with directors, editors, and other crew members to ensure cohesive storytelling. The Cinematographer also contributes to pre-production planning, including shot lists and technical requirements, and supports post-production by providing input on color grading and visual continuity. This role requires a strong focus on detail, reliability in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to delivering polished visuals that support strategic real estate campaigns.Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Cinematography and Film Production, with experience crafting visual narratives for marketing or commercial projects.Proficiency in Camera Operation and Video Production, including handling professional camera systems and related accessories.Strong Lighting skills for indoor and outdoor shoots, with the ability to design setups that enhance property features and brand messaging.Experience collaborating with creative, marketing, and sales teams to translate briefs into effective visual content.Familiarity with post-production workflows, including color grading and basic editing coordination.Ability to work on-site in Addis Ababa, manage tight timelines, and adapt to changing project requirements.Relevant education or training in film, media production, or a related field; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.Strong communication skills, professional conduct with clients and partners, and an interest in real estate or property marketing is a plus.
