Clinical Research Philadelphia is hiring coordinators for both of our offices, Pennington, NJ and Philadelphia, PA. Apply once and tell us which office you can get to; we will place you where you fit and where the need is.This is a hands-on coordinator job for someone who has already done it. You need at least two years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator at a U.S. research site, you need to be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, and you need to be able to work in person every workday at one of our two offices. If that's you, keep reading. If not, this isn't the role for you, and we'd rather say so up front than waste your time.Clinical Research Philadelphia (CRP) has been running clinical trials for nearly 30 years, more than 500 of them, for many of the largest pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Our Philadelphia office runs studies in cardio-metabolic disease, liver disease, immunology, women's health, and Alzheimer's, and our Pennington office runs studies in cardiology, dermatology, and migraine. Both are growing. We are a technology-forward site: electronic source, CRIO, sponsor EDC systems, and workflows built so coordinators spend their time with patients instead of paper. Learn more at www.phillyresearch.com.You'll own your own studies at whichever office you're placed in. That means your patients, your visits, your data entry the same day, your queries answered. You'll work alongside the other coordinators at your office, our principal investigators, and our lab and operations teams, with support from the other office, but the studies you're assigned are yours. What you'd doRun study visits start to finish for the studies you own: screening, consent, vitals, ECGs, blood draws, specimen processing and shipping, and prepping patients for the investigatorEnter source and EDC data the same day as the visit, and answer sponsor and CRO queries yourself, promptlyKeep your studies inspection-ready: regulatory binders, drug accountability, temperature logs, training recordsWork directly with monitors during visits and close out their findingsSchedule and remind your patients, and build the kind of relationship that keeps them coming back for every visitReport adverse events correctly and on time, and flag out-of-range labs to the investigatorHelp recruit: phone screens, pre-screening from referrals, and occasional community events near your officeWork from the office your studies are run from. We will tell you which office before we make an offerMust-haves (we will ask about every one of these before an interview)At least 2 years as a Clinical Research Coordinator at a research site in the United States. Experience only outside the U.S., in a lab, in data analysis, or in a regulatory-only role does not count toward this. Time as a research assistant or clinical trial assistant counts for half.Authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship. We do not sponsor visas, and we cannot make exceptions.Lives within a reasonable daily drive of at least one of our offices and has reliable transportation. For Pennington, NJ, that means Mercer, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, or Burlington County, NJ, or Bucks County, PA; Pennington is not on a train line. For Philadelphia, PA (Northeast Philadelphia, 19114), that means Philadelphia, Bucks, or Montgomery County, PA, or Burlington County, NJ. We do not offer relocation assistance, and we will ask where you live now.Able to work in person every workday at the office you're placed in. This is not a hybrid or remote role. Some days start around 6:30 to 7:00 AM for fasting visits.Hands-on with study technology. You have entered data in an EDC system, used sponsor portals, and worked from an electronic source. We will ask you to describe your last month of draws.Spanish. Enough to consent a patient and walk them through a visit in Spanish, not just greet them. Both offices serve Spanish-speaking communities and we are actively recruiting Spanish-speaking patients. We will do part of the interview in Spanish if you list it.Experience with CRIOCardiology, cardio-metabolic, liver, dermatology, immunology, or migraine study experienceBachelor's degree in a health or science field, or a clinical background (MA, LPN, RN, EMT)ACRP or SoCRA certificationPay, schedule, and how to applyPay: Competitive, based on experience; discussed during the interview.
