Cloud Platform Engineer | Utrecht Area | AWS | IaC | CI/CD | SaaS Transformation | Healthcare Technology | 32 – 40 Hours | Up to €85K!Help shape the transformation of a globally used medical software platform from on-premises infrastructure to a modern AWS-based SaaS environment, while directly contributing to technology that improves patient care worldwide.ResponsibilitiesAs a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in a large-scale cloud transformation within an innovative software organization operating in the healthcare technology sector.The company has successfully launched its software platform internationally and is now investing heavily in the transition from a traditional on-premises environment to a scalable AWS-based SaaS platform. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, platform engineering, automation, and cloud architecture.You will join a growing engineering team and help build the cloud foundation that will support the next generation of products. This is not a software development role. Instead, you will focus on AWS infrastructure, deployment, automation, cloud operations, and platform engineering.The environment offers a unique combination of hands-on engineering and long-term architectural impact. Today, the focus is on building and stabilizing the AWS foundation. Tomorrow, the platform will evolve into a cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS environment.Your responsibilities include:Designing, building, and improving AWS cloud infrastructureMigrating critical on-premises systems to AWSImplementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using TerraformBuilding and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and deployment processesSupporting containerization initiatives and future Kubernetes adoptionCollaborating with architects, software engineers, and cloud specialistsImproving platform security, scalability, and reliabilityHelping shape the transition toward a cloud-native SaaS platformContributing to platform standards, best practices, and automation initiativesCompanyThis international software organization develops advanced technology solutions that support healthcare professionals worldwide in planning and performing complex medical procedures.Its software is used by leading hospitals and healthcare providers across the globe and directly contributes to improved patient outcomes.
