Team members collaborate across regions and disciplines to deliver innovative technology solutions that create measurable business value.Role Description This full-time Cloud Solution Architect role is based in Greater Kuala Lumpur and is offered as a hybrid position, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. The Cloud Solution Architect will design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures that support governed AI solutions, vertical AI agents, and enterprise modernization initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include translating business requirements into secure, scalable cloud designs; selecting appropriate cloud services; defining reference architectures; and leading technical solution proposals. The role involves collaborating with engineering, data, security, and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet performance, resilience, compliance, and cost-efficiency targets. The architect will also guide migration strategies, conduct architecture reviews, prepare technical documentation, and provide thought leadership on cloud and AI best practices.Qualifications Strong skills in cloud architecture and design, including experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid/cloud-native patterns.Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, CI/CD pipelines).Experience with AI/ML solution design, data platforms, and integrating AI agents or governed AI services into cloud ecosystems.Solid understanding of networking, security, identity and access management, and compliance controls within cloud environments.Ability to analyze business and technical requirements, create solution blueprints, and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Background in modern application architectures, such as microservices, containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and API-driven integration.Demonstrated experience in cloud migration, modernization of legacy systems, and performance and cost optimization.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly beneficial.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Greater Kuala Lumpur, collaborating across global and cross-functional teams.Strong problem-solving skills, a structured approach to documentation and design, and commitment to inclusive, ethical, and secure solution delivery.
