Job OverviewThe Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at CMC Global is responsible for defining and executing the company’s technology vision, strategy, and architecture to support sustainable growth in global IT services and digital transformation. The CTO will lead technology innovation, engineering excellence, and R&D initiatives while ensuring scalability, security, and high-quality delivery for international clients.This role plays a critical part in positioning CMC Global as a leading global technology services provider, aligned with the CMC Group’s long-term strategy. 3. Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Strategy & Leadership· Define and drive the overall technology vision, roadmap, and architecture aligned with CMC Global’s business strategy and growth objectives.· Advise the CEO and executive leadership on emerging technologies, technology investments, and innovation opportunities.· Represent CMC Global as a technology thought leader in client engagements, partnerships, and industry events.Engineering & Delivery Excellence· Oversee engineering standards, development methodologies, and best practices across all delivery centers.· Ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance systems for global enterprise clients.· Drive continuous improvement in software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps, Agile, and quality assurance practices.Innovation & R&D· Lead R&D initiatives in key technology areas such as Cloud, AI/ML, Data, Cybersecurity, Digital Platforms, and Enterprise Solutions.· Build and maintain technology frameworks, accelerators, and reusable assets to enhance competitiveness and delivery efficiency.· Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and technical excellence across the organization.People & Organization Development· Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering and technology leadership teams.· Define technical career paths, competency frameworks, and upskilling programs for engineers and architects.· Attract, retain, and develop top technology talent to support global expansion.Client & Partner Engagement· Act as a trusted technology advisor to strategic clients, supporting presales, solution design, and complex transformation programs.· Collaborate with global technology partners (e.g., cloud providers, platform vendors) to build strategic alliances.· Support sales and account teams in winning large-scale, high-value deals.Governance, Risk & Security· Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements across all markets.· Define and enforce technology governance, architecture standards, and risk management practices.· Oversee cybersecurity strategy and resilience for both internal systems and client solutions. 4. Qualifications Must-have· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.· 10+ years of experience in software engineering, technology leadership, or IT services, with at least 5 years in a senior executive or CTO-equivalent role.· Strong background in global IT services, outsourcing, or digital transformation.· Proven experience leading large-scale engineering organizations and distributed teams.· Deep understanding of modern technology stacks: Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), Microservices, Data/AI, and Enterprise Systems.· Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology decisions with commercial and strategic goals.· Excellent communication skills in English; able to engage effectively with executives, clients, and partners.Nice to have· Experience working with international clients.· Exposure to M&A technology integration or rapid scaling environments.· Industry certifications in cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, or security are a plus. 5.
