Design Service is a service that offers added value service to (potential) customers in order to help customers become more profitable when using our products. This to create a lasting relationship and sell more Aalberts IPS products and solutions.To accelerate this process and to get more traction we need to grow our organization with sales engineer professionals.your roleAs Sales Engineer Design Service it is your responsibility to set up, execute and manage Design Service for the Middle East market. You will set this up in close cooperation with the business, product management and sales department.You will advise clients from the engineering phase to the delivery of the project in order to help them to select the right products and solutionsyour responsibilities

• set up, execute and manage Design Service for the Middle East market
• advise clients from the engineering phase to the delivery of the project
• providing CAD/ BIM Revit modelling support; draw / model piping systems for clients, using BIM Revit/ CAD software
• advising and assisting customers in selecting the correct Aalberts IPS products and solutions by providing technical services such as Material Takeoffs, Cost Comparisons, Equipment Detailing, Pipe Movement Calculations, Coordination drawings and MER fabrication drawings
• be an advocate and promotor of our new AIPS BIM Revit plugin in the market. Revit design software offers customers of Aalberts IPS an easy solution forusing our integrated piping systems in (new) building projects. This Revit design software connects our business with IT and enables customers to easily gain insight into their bill of material. In your role you will provide feedback on the use of the Revit plugin regarding usability, features, quality and standards in order to improve this plugin.
• provide training and education on Revit/ AIPS Revit plugin and Aalberts IPS valve & connection technology
• perform closely with Engineers, Developers and Product Management throughout organization to influence product development assisting or improving products.
• learn and display as how products would add value to respective business.
• you will do this for the Middle East market and are closely involved with the Design Service sales engineers from the US and Western Europe.
