Community Operations Manager

Role OverviewYou will manage edgeX’s Korean communities and relevant social channels, building an active, professional, and sustainable community of traders. Beyond daily community operations, you will use your perspective as a trader to create thoughtful market, product, and trading content, becoming a trusted local bridge between edgeX and Korean trading users while supporting regional operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity and social operations: Manage daily operations across relevant Korean channels such as Telegram, X, Discord, KakaoTalk, and Naver Cafe. Stay close to local market conversations and maintain an active and professional environment.Content and localization: Adapt product updates, campaigns, announcements, and market content into accurate and natural Korean. Beyond translation, use your own trading experience and knowledge of Korean users to create timely market observations, trading-mechanism explainers, risk education, product tutorials, and interactive community content.User engagement and events: Plan and execute AMAs, livestreams, trading discussions, community campaigns, user challenges, and offline events. Support regional operations initiatives and encourage meaningful product participation.Core users and KOL coordination: Build relationships with active traders, core users, moderators, KOCs, and community contributors. Coordinate day-to-day content, AMAs, and events with KOLs, while commercial negotiations and contracting remain led by the BD team.User feedback and cross-functional collaboration: Monitor community sentiment, identify recurring needs and issues, and coordinate follow-up with operations, product, and customer support. This is not a customer support role, but it requires clear communication and effective issue routing.Analytics and optimization: Track community growth, meaningful engagement, content performance, event participation, and user feedback, and adjust topics, content, and event rhythm accordingly.RequirementsProfessional working proficiency in Korean is required, including independently writing original content, hosting events, and handling complex community conversations. Working proficiency in either Chinese or English is also required.3+ years of experience in community, content, or user operations, including at least 2 years at a digital asset trading platform.An active trader with a strong understanding of perpetual contracts, leverage, margin, and liquidation, and the ability to explain market movements, trading mechanics, and risk in accessible language.Hands-on experience managing local communities, consistently producing original trading content, and executing online campaigns, supported by content samples and clear examples of community growth, engagement, or campaign results.Strong Korean writing, localization, and real-time communication skills, with the ability to respond quickly to local market and community topics.Comfortable working with KOLs, KOCs, community partners, and event organizers, including supporting offline event preparation and on-site execution.Proactive, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a remote, fast-moving team.Preferred QualificationsExperience at platforms such as Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, BingX, MEXC, or Gate.An established personal social media account with consistent trading-related content, an authentic Korean trading audience, and healthy engagement. Regular use of edgeX or another Perp DEX is also preferred.Relationships with Korean trading KOLs, KOCs, communities, media, or event organizers.Experience building or managing moderator, ambassador, or contributor programs.Ability to host livestreams or create short-form video, basic visuals, or event materials.
