This role will serve as a key legal partner to internal stakeholders, ensuring that all vendor agreements and business contracts align with organizational objectives while minimizing risk. The ideal candidate brings a practical, business-oriented mindset and thrives in a fast-paced environment.This is an onsite role in our Jacksonville office working Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm. What You’ll Be Doing Contracts & Commercial Agreements:Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a high volume of vendor, supplier, and service agreementsProvide clear, risk-based legal guidance on contract terms, obligations, and exposurePartner with internal teams (procurement, finance, operations, etc.) to support contract lifecycle managementDevelop and maintain standard contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelinesEnsure consistency and compliance with company policies and applicable laws across all agreementsIdentify and mitigate contractual risks while balancing business objectivesLegal Advisory & Compliance:Serve as a trusted legal advisor to cross-functional teams on a wide range of legal mattersEnsure company compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standardsAssist with corporate governance matters, policies, and internal controlsSupport risk management initiatives and provide proactive legal recommendationsOperational & Strategic Support:Collaborate with leadership on business initiatives requiring legal inputAssist in managing external counsel when necessarySupport dispute resolution efforts, including pre-litigation matters related to contractsContribute to continuous improvement of legal processes and efficienciesWhat You’ll Need Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction4+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm or in-house legal departmentDemonstrated experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial/vendor contractsStrong understanding of contract law and risk management principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal conceptsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesWho We Are PAX Technology is redefining the future of payments—and we’re looking for bold thinkers, builders, and innovators to join us.As a global leader in payment solutions, we power millions of devices across 120+ countries, helping businesses deliver faster, smarter, and more seamless commerce experiences.We’re not just building hardware—we’re building solutions.
