Credit Controller

Barden is delighted to be working with a large Irish Business in Dublin as they look to hire a Credit Controller / Analyst.This is a hands-on role at the centre of the finance function, with real ownership of a ledger and a direct line to the people who make the decisions.You will manage a portfolio of accounts from invoice to cash, keep customers paying on time, and spot problems early. You will work closely with sales, customer service, and the wider finance team, so your voice will be heard.“We want someone who is confident picking up the phone, curious about why an invoice is stuck, and happy to build good relationships with customers while keeping cash moving.” Hiring ManagerABOUT THE ROLEOwn a portfolio of customer accounts and the cash collection that goes with it.Chase overdue balances by phone and email, and agree payment plans where needed.Resolve billing queries and disputes with sales, customer service, and operations.Allocate cash accurately and reconcile customer accounts.Monitor credit limits and flag risk early.Prepare ageing reports and highlight trends to the Credit Manager.ABOUT THE PERSON2+ years in credit control, collections, or accounts receivable.Confident, professional communicator who builds rapport with customers.Comfortable with Excel and an ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to following up.OTHER DETAILSLocation and working model: Dublin city, 3 days per week in officeContract type: PermanentInterested?
