Cyber Security Consultant (Advisory)UK Wide | Working from home with some client-site visits across the UK£90,000-£120,000 + 5-10% bonus depending on experience Must be eligible for SC Clearance.We’re supporting a global consultancy looking to hire a Cyber Security Consultant.This role sits between traditional cyber advisory, pre-sales and delivery. You’ll work with existing clients to understand their cyber challenges, build relationships with senior stakeholders and help define practical strategies, roadmaps and solutions.You won’t be expected to be the deepest technical SME across every area of cyber security, but you will need enough technical credibility to understand the problem, challenge where needed and identify what a realistic solution could look like.The clients you’ll support span a range of industries, and you’ll be put through SC clearance so you can work on UK Government engagements where required.You will work from home with expensed UK client-travel where needed. This will typically be a few times a month on average with flexibility needed to travel more often if required.The role will involve:Leading cyber advisory engagements including maturity assessments, risk reviews, strategy and roadmapsWorking with senior client stakeholders to understand challenges and prioritiesTranslating technical cyber issues into clear, practical recommendationsIdentifying opportunities for wider transformation, delivery or managed services workWorking alongside security architects, technical SMEs, pre-sales and delivery teamsStaying involved with clients where needed as engagements move into deliverySupporting proposals, bids and wider business development activityRelevant experience includes:Cybersecurity advisory, strategy and transformationSecurity architecture and secure-by-designCyber risk, resilience and maturity assessmentsDeveloping practical roadmaps and recommendations for clientsSenior stakeholder engagement within a consulting environmentBenefits include:5-10% bonus25 days holiday plus option to buy/sell 5 morePrivate healthcareFlexible benefits package
