Cybersecurity Engineer

Role Summary We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to monitor and protect network infrastructure, manage firewall configurations, investigate security incidents, and identify potential vulnerabilities. Key Responsibilities Monitor network security and identify threats Configure and manage firewall rules and security policies Investigate security incidents Identify vulnerabilities and recommend security improvements Maintain security documentation and incident reports Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. 3–6 years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity or network security. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in firewall management and network security. Strong understanding of network security principles. Practical experience in firewall configuration and management. Knowledge of security monitoring and incident response. Good English communication skills. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, particularly Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel. CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or an equivalent cybersecurity certification.
