SHAR is committed to linking its success with the personal and professional development of each employee.Role Description The Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and reviewing structural systems for a variety of construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing structural calculations, conducting structural analysis, preparing and checking drawings and models using CAD tools, and coordinating with civil engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs. The role involves preparing technical reports, participating in design meetings, supporting site teams with structural queries, and addressing any design changes or issues that arise during construction. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Riyadh, where the Structural Engineer will work primarily on-site with the flexibility to perform some tasks from home as project needs allow.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong competencies in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with a solid understanding of relevant codes, standards, and construction practices.Candidates should possess proven skills in Structural Analysis and Calculations to design safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural systems.Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing, reviewing, and updating structural drawings and models.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.Experience in building or infrastructure projects within the construction industry, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.Effective communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.Familiarity with relevant design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD, or similar) and basic project management practices is beneficial.
