Data, Analytics & Statistics LeadDoha, Qatar | Contract | OnsiteAbout :We are supporting a client on a major transport-sector government programme in Doha. We are looking for a senior specialist to lead data governance, statistics and analytical capabilities supporting transport-sector decision-making and performance monitoring.What you will be doing : Design data governance processes for metadata, lineage, quality, ownership and controls.Build statistical analysis, forecasting, economic modelling and scenario-analysis approaches.Develop survey analysis methods, including transport-user satisfaction analytics.Specify data integration via APIs, database connections and other suitable interfaces.Guide BI dashboard design and management reporting.Promote alignment with relevant ISO 27001 security and ISO 8000 data-quality principles.Work with transport and government stakeholders to validate data definitions and outputs.Candidate profile : Extensive experience in data governance, analytics, statistics or economic modelling.Practical understanding of metadata, lineage, databases, data integration and BI tools.Experience applying statistical methods to complex operational or government datasets.Transport-sector experience strongly preferred, ideally with a government body, transport authority or major consulting programme. Backgrounds across aviation, maritime, ports, rail, roads and wider transport infrastructure will be considered.Experience working with government stakeholders and regulatory authorities.ISO 27001 and ISO 8000 knowledge desirable.Strong written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.Must have : Worked with transport-sector projects and clientsWillingness to work in DohaIf you fit the requirements and are interested, hit the APPLY button!
