Every family gets one connected health record and one named care navigator, who guides them from lab results to the next step. We are preparing for our India rollout.The roleYou will be our first data scientist. Your job is to make sure the data, models and AI assistant we put in front of families are tested, explainable and safe.Your first six months run in two phases:Synthetic data: build the evaluation framework, the data pipelines and an AI assistant test set, together with our doctors.Scrubbed real data: audit it, recalibrate, reduce hallucinations and unsafe answers, and monitor for drift and failures.You start by learning what exists today, then we agree together what to build first.What you bring5+ years in data science or ML, with at least two models taken to productionStrong Python, SQL and statistics, and honest model evaluationHands-on LLM evaluation: hallucination testing, RAG or guardrailsExperience with messy lab or longitudinal data, and with sensitive data under privacy-by-designJudgement to choose a simple model when it works, and to explain limits to doctors and foundersComfort working on your own at an early-stage companyNice to have (any one): healthcare or regulated-domain work, clinical NLP, wearable data, Indian lab data.How to applyApply with your CV and attach a note under 200 words as your cover letter (or email it to rakesh@previu.health), covering:A model or LLM system you took to production, your part and the resultHow you measured and reduced wrong or unsafe outputsHow you monitored it after deployment and handled a failurePlease include your notice period and expected compensation.
