Job Title: Data Scientist (Outsource Contract)Job PurposeAnalyze big data and extract statistical indicators, develop the algorithms, methodologies, and tools required for data analysis, present findings, prepare reports, and design interactive dashboards to support informed decision-making and future planning.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify specialized areas and sources for collecting data on community segments, social services, and service recipients, and apply data mining techniques to develop statistical models.Conduct validation tests on predictive models used to forecast community members’ social service needs, anticipate future societal changes, and identify emerging social trends and phenomena.Develop algorithms and design new processes for analyzing big data and large, complex datasets using Artificial Intelligence (AI).Develop advanced software solutions that leverage AI technologies to access, process, and analyze big data more efficiently, effectively, and accurately.Establish strategies and methodologies to optimize the utilization, integration, and interaction of big data.Extract hidden patterns, insights, and knowledge from vast datasets to support evidence-based decision-making.Study and analyze new and diverse datasets, identify new applications for existing data sources, and enhance analytical methodologies to maximize the value derived from available data.Strengthen and support data collection processes to incorporate information on societal changes, emerging patterns, and social phenomena into newly developed analytical systems.Prepare reports on data analysis outcomes and develop forward-looking insights and projections to support future planning in the social services sector.Coordinate with relevant employees responsible for managing the entity’s databases and collaborate with other data and domain specialists, as required.Comply with the entity’s approved information security policies and procedures and adhere to relevant controls to ensure data confidentiality and information security.Perform any other duties and responsibilities relevant to the scope of the position.Educational RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Programming, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.Experience Requirements5–8 years of professional experience in data processing, database management, or programming.
