Director Information Security | FrankfurtThis leadership role puts you in charge of security across a business’s corporate functions. You will build a team from the ground up, deliver a NIS2 transformation and make security governance part of everyday operations.Sitting outside IT and reporting to the executive board, you will work alongside the CISO and senior business leaders. The salary is €160,000–180,000.The role:Be the go-to voice on security for the board and functional heads, and represent the corporate functions in governance forums.Own the NIS2 programme end to end, from roadmap and resourcing through to a sustainable operating model.Define who owns what in security and how issues are escalated and reported, helping business teams meet their obligations within group-wide standards.Track risks, audits and remediation, giving leadership a reliable picture of exposure and control effectiveness.Strengthen incident, crisis and continuity readiness with the relevant owners, alongside supplier security, access management and resilience.Connect the business with central capabilities such as security operations, identity management, architecture and penetration testing.Recruit and lead a dedicated team, supported by security champions across the business.What you’ll need:Eight or more years in information security, including leadership at director level.Board-level credibility from advising on C-level topics.The ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical leaders.Fluent English.Willingness to work on site in Frankfurt.How to apply:Interested?
