Please note that travel or commuting expenses will not be covered for candidates residing outside Attiki or outside a reasonable commuting distance.We are looking for a highly experienced Director of Cloud DevOps to lead our cloud infrastructure strategy, drive reliability, scalability and security across our AWS and GCP environments, and mentor high-performing technical teams. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on expertise in cloud engineering, Kubernetes and automation with strong leadership skills and a forward-thinking approach to modern DevOps and AI infrastructure.Scope of TasksDefining, championing, and executing the company's DevOps and cloud roadmap to ensure alignment with rapid product development and global scaleLeading, mentoring, and growing a high-performing team of DevOps and Cloud Engineers while fostering a culture of ownership and technical excellenceOverseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure primarily on AWSDriving the adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles to ensure all infrastructure is versioned, automated, and reproducibleContinuously improving and automating CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and frequent software releases across the organizationEstablishing and tracking key reliability metrics such as SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs to ensure maximum platform uptime and performanceOverseeing critical operational areas including monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, disaster recovery, and capacity planningIntegrating security best practices into the entire SDLC (DevSecOps) to ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standardsManaging cloud spending effectively through FinOps practices, identifying cost-saving measures without compromising on performanceDriving the evolution of containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) across the global platformRequirementsCloud Engineering, or SREDemonstrating over 5 years of extensive, hands-on experience designing and managing complex, high-availability production workloads on AWSHaving proven experience in a leadership role such as Director, Head of, or Lead, with a track record of successfully mentoring technical teamsPossessing expert-level proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormationHolding deep technical mastery of AWS services including EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, RDS, and advanced networking/security toolsShowing expert-level knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including cluster management, Helm charts, and service mesh conceptsHaving strong experience with modern CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, with a commitment to GitOps principlesDemonstrating proficiency in at least one relevant scripting language like Python, Bash, or GoPossessing the ability to manage multi-cloud environments, specifically involving both AWS and GCPHaving experience with advanced observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog as a distinct advantageShowing familiarity with MLOps or AI infrastructure pipelines to support the industry's shift toward AI-driven translationPossessing English language skills at a professional level to lead global teams and align technical strategy with business objectivesBenefitsWhy You'll Enjoy Working HereAt XTM, we want people to do meaningful work, grow their careers, and have the freedom to innovate.
