Its technologies span solar, battery energy storage, power generation, and microgrids, helping commercial and industrial customers, municipalities, and digital infrastructure providers address complex energy challenges.The OpportunityA growing energy infrastructure company is seeking a Director of Origination & Digital to lead the growth of its BESS and Digital Energy businesses, with a focus on developing and commercializing microgrid solutions for communities and data center campuses across the U.S.Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you’ll own the strategy and execution behind these emerging business lines, identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and translating customer and market insights into commercially viable offerings. You’ll work alongside in-house power systems engineering and development teams to take projects from concept through implementation while building the team and resources needed to scale.This is an opportunity for a commercially minded energy leader to help define a growing market, develop new offerings, and play a pivotal role in the company’s next phase of growth.What We’re Looking For10+ years of relevant experience in the energy industry, ideally with a microgrid developer, power development firm, independent power producer (IPP), or related organization.Proven leadership experience, with a track record of developing talent and building high-performing teams.End-to-end power project expertise, with the ability to lead complex power systems projects from initial concept and development through construction and commissioning.Commercial and strategic acumen, including experience identifying new business opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, evaluating market economics, and building scalable energy offerings.Strong technical and market knowledge spanning BESS, microgrids, grid services, energy distribution, demand response, or energy trading, paired with excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills.Why Consider This Opportunity?Join a growing energy business where you can bring together commercial strategy, technical innovation, and market development to help shape the future of distributed power and digital infrastructure.The company offers competitive compensation and annual bonus opportunities, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 401(k) with employer match, paid time off and holidays, and paid parental leave.
