This key leadership role will focus on managing all technical aspects of our ambitious projects and initiatives, ensuring that we deliver high-quality outcomes that align with our strategic vision.You will play a crucial role in leading your team to enhance operational performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure that all technical requirements are met.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical LeadershipProvide vision and direction for the technical department, ensuring alignment with broader company objectivesMentor and develop engineering teams to enhance skills and expertiseDrive innovation by encouraging and implementing new technologies and methodologiesProject ManagementOversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed to specifications, on time, and within budgetCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all technical aspects of projects are integrated effectivelyContinuous ImprovementIdentify areas for improvement within technical operations and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and effectivenessUtilize data and metrics to assess performance and implement corrective actions as neededStakeholder CollaborationEngage with internal and external stakeholders to align technical requirements with business objectivesBuild strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and industry partners to support project successCompliance and Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to all relevant local and international standards, regulations, and best practices in engineering and constructionIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technical operationsReporting and DocumentationMaintain thorough documentation of technical specifications, project plans, and compliance recordsPrepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and outcomesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plusMinimum of 12 years of experience in a leadership role within technical services or engineering management in large-scale development or construction projectsExperience applying project management methodologies and principlesExperience collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholdersExperience driving innovation and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in technical operationsIn-depth knowledge of engineering standards, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to large-scale projectsExperience with risk management and problem-solving in complex environmentsExperience preparing technical documentation and reports
