Estimation Section Head Engineer_Infrastructure

Roles & Responsibilities:Contribute in setting the plan of the bid of concerned project in coordination with line manager.Coordinate internally between team members to assure the job completion with no gaps/missing items in the study.Identify the data needed from other departments and proposes an action plan to line manager.Review List of Major quantities.Review the classification of tender documents as per the department’s scope.Plan and follow the commercial requests (RFQs), in addition to reporting and conducting comparison of their status on weekly basis.Follow reports and requests related to market news of the concerned project.Review estimates/reports prepared by team members and discuss them; ensuring scope/specifications estimates are compatible and complete.Prepare the detailed Project Budget, and detailed project information sheet.Prepare tender queries to client/Engineer.Visit project site and collect all site related technical information.Review project quantities take off.Extract bid bond data from documents.Review Unit cost sheet and coding of trades and sub-trades.Review Request for quotations to suppliers and subcontractors.Conduct client meetings to collect all necessary data about the project under study.Evaluate sub-contractors' quotation and analyze sub-contractors' offers.Plan for “Bid Closing” separately in coordination with line manager.Cooperate with line manager in preparing Customer’s/Engineer’s technical questions responses.Review the technical and commercial comparison sheets for the suppliers offer.Prepare direct cost study break down analysis.Support estimation manger in preparation of Equipment list, Histograms, cash flow, presentation and suppliers and subcontractors list.Lead team in performing the assigned tasks.Ensure work procedures of various activities within the tendering are implemented and followed.Review and ensure all services and work-products delivered by the section meet quality in compliance with established policies and procedures.Provide periodic performance appraisals for line reports.Qualifications & Requirements:BSC Of Civil Engineering.9+ years’ experience in the Engineering field, Including extensive infrastructure project expertise.Fluent in English.Excellent in Microsoft Office package.CCS User."Hassan Allam Holding is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind: Hassan Allam Holding is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
