Supply Chain Manager – Premium Home Appliances

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to establish and lead the end-to-end supply chain operations for an international premium home appliances business entering the Egyptian market.The role will oversee demand and supply planning, international imports, customs clearance, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution, ensuring product availability, operational efficiency, and cost control.This is a confidential search, and the company name will be shared with shortlisted candidates.Product CategoriesThe portfolio includes premium small domestic appliances across floorcare, kitchen appliances, food preparation, coffee machines, beauty products, air purifiers, and fans.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and manage the end-to-end supply chain operations in Egypt, covering planning, imports, customs, warehousing, and distribution.Lead demand and supply planning (S&OP) in coordination with sales and commercial teams.Manage international shipments from global manufacturing facilities and regional distribution hubs.Oversee import documentation, product registration, regulatory approvals, customs clearance, and compliance with Egyptian requirements, including GOEIC and NAFEZA/ACI.Select and manage third-party logistics (3PL), freight, warehousing, and transportation partners.Ensure timely and accurate product delivery to distributors, retailers, and e-commerce platforms.Monitor inventory levels, stock availability, ageing, returns, and spare parts.Control landed costs, customs duties, freight expenses, and overall logistics budgets.Develop supply chain processes, KPIs, and operational reporting to support business growth.

Requirements

7+ years of supply chain experience, preferably within Egypt.Experience in home appliances, consumer electronics, FMCG, or consumer durables.Strong knowledge of international imports, Egyptian customs procedures, GOEIC, and NAFEZA/ACI.Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and distribution.Experience managing 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and warehouse operations.Strong understanding of landed cost, import documentation, and supply chain financial controls.Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent, and advanced Excel skills.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Fluent in Arabic with good English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certification such as CSCP, CPIM, or equivalent.Experience establishing supply chain operations for a new business or market launch.Exposure to e-commerce fulfilment and platforms such as Amazon.eg and Noon.
