To ensure reliable and efficient operation of plant machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair in an agrochemical manufacturing plant.

Department: Engineering & MaintenanceExperience: 4–9 YearsQualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical EngineeringKey ResponsibilitiesCarry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment and plant machinery.Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhauling of industrial pumps, including centrifugal pumps and associated components.Handle mechanical seal replacement, bearing replacement, pump alignment, and seal leakage troubleshooting.Maintain and repair gearboxes, agitators, reactors, valves, pipelines, and other rotating and static equipment.Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring mechanical failures to minimize unplanned downtime.Execute maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of equipment inspections and repairs.Coordinate with Production and other departments to plan maintenance activities and equipment shutdowns.Maintain equipment history, breakdown reports, preventive maintenance records, and other maintenance documentation.Ensure availability of critical spares and support inventory planning for mechanical maintenance requirements.Follow plant safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and applicable maintenance standards.Support root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions.Ensure compliance with plant safety requirements and maintenance SOPs.Required Technical SkillsHands-on experience in industrial pump maintenance and repair.Strong knowledge of centrifugal pumps, mechanical seals, bearings, and gearboxes.Experience in equipment overhauling, shaft alignment, and mechanical troubleshooting.Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.Experience working with mechanical equipment in a continuous or batch-process manufacturing plant.Required QualificationsB.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.Required Experience4–9 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance within the agrochemical manufacturing industry.Preferred Candidate ProfileCandidates currently based in Gujarat are preferred.Candidates must have relevant hands-on experience in agrochemical plant maintenance.Strong practical knowledge of pumps, mechanical seals, bearings, and rotating equipment is essential.Candidates should be comfortable working in a plant-based manufacturing environment.Interested candidates with relevant agrochemical industry experience are encouraged to apply.
