F&B Manager / Service Manager / Service Supervisor

Role Description The Owner of The Men’s Book Breakfast ~ The MBB is a part-time, remote role responsible for overall vision, strategy, and stewardship of the forum. This role oversees planning and scheduling of the four annual Seasons, including book selection, meeting calendars, and time zone coordination. Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating or delegating facilitation of morning sessions, guiding discussions to align with the forum’s objectives, and nurturing a safe, respectful environment for all participants. The Owner manages communications across email and social platforms, promotes upcoming Seasons, and engages with potential and current members to encourage participation. Additional tasks include building strategic partnerships, monitoring feedback, and continuously improving the experience and impact of the community.QualificationsStrong leadership and community-building skills, including the ability to inspire, mentor, and facilitate group discussions.Experience in program or event coordination, with the capacity to plan multi-session series, manage schedules, and organize virtual meetings.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with comfort using email, social media (especially LinkedIn and Twitter), and other online tools.Demonstrated commitment to personal growth, learning, and engagement with books or structured content as tools for development.Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and balance multiple responsibilities on a part-time basis.Sensitivity to and respect for diverse cultural, professional, and faith backgrounds, with alignment to the forum’s values rooted in the Christian faith.Prior experience in mentoring, coaching, or faith-based or values-driven initiatives is beneficial.Familiarity with online meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Google Meet) and basic digital administration skills is an advantage.
