Finance & Data Analytics Intern

𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀Assist with management accounting activities, including preparing periodic financial analysis and management reports.Apply data analytics skills and basic accounting knowledge to analyze financial data and provide insights into business performance.Support the development and maintenance of dashboards to monitor key financial and operational metrics.Assist in data extraction, cleaning, reconciliation and analysis to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.Collaborate with Finance and other departments to understand business activities and key financial drivers.Support reporting to Head Office, including preparing financial analysis and management reports in Chinese.Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives within the Finance team.Perform other ad hoc finance and analytical tasks as assigned.𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accountancy, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in understanding the relationship between financial results and business activities.Knowledge of SQL is required; familiarity with Python, Excel, Power BI or other data analytics tools is an advantage.Interest in financial markets and products, including Futures, Options, OTC derivatives, Securities and Fixed Income.Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, as the role involves preparing reports for Chinese-speaking stakeholders.Detail-oriented, proactive and willing to learn.Strong team player with good interpersonal and organizational skills.Previous internship experience in Finance, Accounting or Data Analytics is an advantage but not required.𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆Interested candidates are invited to submit their updated CV to finance@orientfutures.com.sgwith the following email subject: Application – Finance & Data Analytics Intern – [Full Name]Please indicate your earliest available start date and expected internship duration in your application.
