Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing the financial health and compliance of the organization. This position manages budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. The Finance Manager monitors costs, analyzes financial performance, and provides insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth. Day-to-day tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, supervising reconciliations, coordinating with external auditors, and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The role also involves improving financial processes, supporting management with data-driven recommendations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with operational goals.Key Responsibilities Lead, manage and develop the accounts team, setting priorities and maintaining strong internal controls.Oversee day-to-day accounting, branch entries, transaction verification, and month-end and year-end closing.Manage cash flow, working capital, credit control, receivables follow-up, payment planning, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and cost controls.Prepare annual budgets and forecasts; track performance against them and report on variances.Own financial reporting, including monthly MIS, brand-level P&L, financial statements, budgets, and clear management insights.Source and manage funding, including bank relationships, credit facilities, trade finance such as letters of credit and guarantees, and vendor credit lines.Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and UAE requirements, including VAT, corporate tax and e-invoicing; coordinate audits through finalization.Manage the ERP system and maintain accurate, reliable financial data. Liaise with Epicor support to resolve system issues.Oversee inventory accounting and controls, including stock counts, reconciliations, aging and slow-moving stock analysis, reorder levels, and demo and experience-centre stock.Work with purchasing on stock replenishment and rotation, recommending actions to reduce obsolete stock and minimize losses.Budget and track exhibition expenses and maintain appropriate provisions.Support business growth through costing, pricing, margin and investment analysis.Qualifications & ExperienceMin 10 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Finance Manager or similar senior role.Experience in IT or AV distribution, trading, or a related industry in the UAE or GCC is preferred.CA qualification preferred; ACCA, CPA or CMA qualifications are also acceptable.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and audit preparation.Experience with ERP systems; Epicor experience is an advantage.Working knowledge of UAE or GCC financial regulations, tax requirements and audit standards.Strong analytical, organizational, communication and leadership skills, with close attention to detail.If you have the experience and leadership skills to strengthen our finance function, apply through LinkedIn. or email your resume to hr@almoe.com
