In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial reporting, cost control, and accounting operations for our managed vessels.
Key Responsibilities
Vessel Accounting & Cost Control: Maintain and monitor operational budgets, cost centers, and vessel-by-vessel Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.Disbursement Accounts (DA) Verification: Review, audit, and approve Disbursement Accounts received from global port agents to ensure compliance with agreed tariffs and agency agreements.Banking & Treasury Operations: Manage multi-currency bank transactions, track vessel advances (Cash to Master / CTM) coordination, and perform regular bank reconciliations.Procurement & Expense Processing: Collaborate closely with the technical and purchasing departments to process, verify, and account for spares, provisions, lubricants, and bunker invoices.Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare cash flow forecasts, periodic financial statements, and standard management reports aligned with the DESE Group Chart of Accounts.
Key Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably within ship management, maritime logistics, or shipping companies.Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of vessel accounting, port agency billing, and maritime operating expense (OPEX) structures.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in financial ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; strong command of international and multi-currency transactions.Soft Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced operational environment with cross-functional teams.Language: Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).Please send your application to below WhatsApp number or directly apply here.+306955691485
