Employment Type: Full-time | On-siteExperience: 3-5 yearsAbout Baseet:Baseet is an educational and scientific organization focused on advancing learning, innovation, and future-ready skills through STEAM education, creative experiences, and hands-on learning programs.Through our Innovation Lab, we aim to create an engaging environment where learners, educators, creators, and aspiring innovators can explore emerging technologies, develop practical skills, experiment with ideas, and turn concepts into tangible outcomes.About the role:Baseet is seeking a proactive, highly organized, and technically capable Innovation Lab Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations and delivery of activities at our Innovation Lab in Dubai.The successful candidate will take ownership of lab operations, equipment management, workshop delivery, and community engagement.

Working at the intersection of education, technology, and creativity, the role will involve coordinating hands-on learning experiences, supporting prototyping projects, and creating opportunities for learners and community members to develop practical skills in digital design, emerging technologies, and innovation.We are looking for someone who combines strong operational capabilities with a passion for learning, experimentation, and enabling others to bring their ideas to life.

Responsibilities

1. Innovation Lab OperationsManage the daily operations of the Innovation Lab, ensuring a safe, organized, accessible, and productive environment.Oversee equipment readiness, maintenance schedules, consumables, inventory, and resource allocation.Establish and maintain operational procedures, equipment usage guidelines, and safety protocols.2. Technology and Equipment ManagementOperate and support makerspace and creative technology equipment, including 3D printers, digital cutters, audio and media production tools, and computer workstations.Provide basic technical troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance or repairs when required.Support users in translating digital designs and concepts into physical prototypes and creative outputs.3. Workshops and Learning ProgramsCoordinate and facilitate hands-on workshops, training sessions, bootcamps, and learning activities aligned with Baseet’s STEAM education and future-skills programs.Support the development of practical learning experiences in areas such as digital fabrication, creative technology, design thinking, prototyping, and content creation.Prepare workshop materials, equipment, schedules, and learning resources, ensuring smooth program delivery.4. Community Engagement and User SupportWelcome and support learners, educators, creators, and other lab users.Guide participants in using equipment, exploring design tools, and developing their projects.Encourage experimentation, collaboration, problem-solving, and responsible use of technology.5. Events and Project CoordinationCoordinate innovation challenges, project showcases, demonstrations, hackathons, and community events.Support partnerships and collaborative activities involving educational institutions, creative professionals, and other stakeholders.Ensure timely execution of activities, effective resource allocation, and a positive participant experience.6. Reporting and Continuous ImprovementMaintain records of equipment usage, inventory, workshop attendance, and project progress.Prepare concise operational reports and contribute to performance tracking and program evaluation.Identify opportunities to improve lab operations, learning experiences, equipment utilization, and community engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design, Education, Technology, Innovation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.3–5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, makerspace management, innovation labs, creative studios, STEAM education, or technology-enabled learning environments.Practical familiarity with at least some of the following: 3D printing, digital fabrication, CAD or digital design software, audio and video production, and creative computing.Experience facilitating workshops, coordinating projects, or supporting hands-on learning activities is an advantage.Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple operational priorities.A practical, solutions-oriented mindset and genuine enthusiasm for technology, creativity, and learning.Excellent command of English and Arabic.How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV along with a brief cover note outlining their relevant technical experience, project coordination background, and interest in working in an innovation-focused learning environment.Apply via: careers@baseet.org
