Finance Solutions Lead (S/4HANA)

We are currently partnering with a market-leading Insurance company, to recruit a Finance Transformation – Business Solutions Lead (S/4HANA). The successful candidate will play a leading role in one of the organisation’s most significant business change initiatives as Business Solution Lead, shaping the future finance architecture, influencing strategic decisions, and helping deliver the global SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead the design authority for the Finance Transformation Programme, defining the future-state business and technology architecture.Develop and deliver the roadmap for migrating from the existing SAP R/3 and Oracle ERP landscape to the global SAP S/4HANA platform.Act as the primary link between UK business stakeholders and Group teams, representing UK priorities and managing strategic relationships.Drive solution design across multiple Finance Transformation workstreams, including ERP, finance data, reporting and technology dependencies.Champion a global-first approach by collaborating with international operating entities, sharing best practices and leveraging lessons learned.Provide expert guidance to senior programme stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions and supporting business readiness for change.Ensure regulatory, risk and compliance requirements are embedded within solution design and programme delivery.Define and maintain finance architecture principles, ensuring alignment between business objectives, technology strategy and the target operating model.Facilitate collaboration between Finance, Technology and business teams to ensure integrated, end-to-end solution delivery.Identify and manage cross-workstream dependencies, architectural risks and design decisions to support successful programme outcomes.Evaluate solution options and challenge design proposals to ensure scalability, efficiency, standardisation and alignment with global strategy.Support programme governance, stakeholder engagement and change management to enable the successful delivery of the global SAP S/4HANA transformation.The ideal candidate:Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture and business solutions within a complex enterprise environment.Strong knowledge of Record-to-Report (RTR) processes and finance transformation principles.Experience across SAP S/4HANA Finance & Controlling, including CCA, IO, PCA and COPA.Knowledge of Group Reporting and Consolidation processes.
