Candidates joining Synergy Ventures can expect a dynamic environment with exposure to multiple industries and regional markets.Role Description The Finance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, preparing financial statements, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Finance Specialist will monitor cash flow, assist with financial analysis to support business decisions, and ensure accuracy and compliance in accounting records. The role includes collaborating with internal teams and external partners, preparing reports for management, and supporting audits and regulatory filings. The ideal candidate maintains high attention to detail, meets reporting deadlines, and contributes to continuous improvement of finance processes.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Finance and Accounting skills to manage core financial operations and reporting.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, support forecasting, and provide insights for decision-making.Candidates should possess experience working with Financial Statements, including preparation, review, and reconciliation.Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting software; knowledge of local Cambodian financial regulations is an advantage.Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-industry environment.Prior experience in a finance or accounting role within service-based or multi-business organizations is preferred.
