It is a start-up with the backing of an established group, a CFO already in place, and serious growth ambitions. It now needs a Financial Controller to build the finance function from the ground up.The roleOwn the finance function day to day, from month-end and statutory reporting through to group consolidationDesign and implement the processes, controls and systems that don’t yet existPartner directly with the CFO to shape the finance team, hiring and developing the people who report to youSupport commercial decisions on capital deployment, project finance and growthWhat you’ll bringQualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA with a strong technical groundingExperience in real assets, infrastructure, telecoms or utilitiesA track record in unstructured or high-growth finance environments, putting in place the systems and processes yourselfThe commercial confidence to push back, make decisions and work without a template
