FP&A Analyst - London (Hybrid working) - Market leading consumer goods businessWe’re partnering with a market leading consumer goods business to recruit an FP&A Analyst.This is an opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to support forecasting, analyse business performance and provide insights that influence decisions.Working closely with Finance, Commercial, Operations and Marketing, you’ll help stakeholders understand the numbers, identify risks and opportunities, and improve profitability.Key responsibilities - Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and business planning.Prepare financial reports, track KPIs and explain variances against budget, forecast and prior year.Partner with stakeholders to understand performance and recommend actions.Monitor sales trends and assess their impact on revenue and profitability.Support month-end activities, including accruals, rebates and gross margin reporting.Build financial models and scenario analysis to support decision-making.Improve reporting tools, dashboards and processes.Provide ad hoc analysis and support business projects.What we’re looking for - Studying towards or qualified in CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent.Experience in FP&A, commercial finance or financial analysis.Strong Excel skills and confidence using financial systems.Commercial awareness and the ability to turn analysis into clear recommendations.Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach.The ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively.Confidence communicating with finance and non-finance stakeholders.Consumer goods or retail experience would be advantageous, as would experience using Power BI.If you enjoy understanding what drives business performance and helping teams make better decisions, apply with your CV or get in touch for a confidential conversation.
