Fire & Life Safety Engineer – FLS Degree RequiredAbout the roleMAZ Engineering Consultants is seeking a qualified Fire & Life Safety (FLS) Engineer to support FLS design and site supervision, coordinate with relevant authorities, and ensure project compliance with applicable codes and requirements.Key responsibilitiesReview FLS drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.Conduct site inspections and supervise FLS-related works.Coordinate with Civil Defense and follow up on requirements, approvals, and procedures.Prepare inspection reports and track site observations through to closure.Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams.RequirementsA bachelor’s degree specifically in Fire & Life Safety Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering is mandatory.Degrees in other engineering disciplines supplemented only by FLS/HSE courses or professional certifications do not meet the academic requirement.0–4 years of relevant FLS experience.Practical knowledge of Civil Defense requirements and procedures.Ability to travel to project sites as required.Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) under the Engineer category.Knowledge of applicable Saudi codes and NFPA standards is preferred.
