Fire Protection Project Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Fire Protection Project Engineer to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and executing fire protection projects, with hands-on experience in fire alarm, firefighting, fire suppression, and related systems. The role requires excellent technical knowledge, project management capabilities, and the ability to ensure successful project execution in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, manage, and execute fire protection projects, including Fire Alarm, Firefighting, Fire Pumps, Sprinkler Systems, FM-200, and other fire suppression systems.Review project specifications, engineering drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with NFPA, FM Global, and applicable local standards.Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers throughout project execution.Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.Prepare and review technical documentation, including method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), technical submittals, and as-built drawings.Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules.Coordinate material procurement, manpower allocation, and equipment utilization.Provide technical guidance and support to site engineers, supervisors, and technicians.Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety requirements.Prepare progress reports and project close-out documentation.Manage project costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization and savings.Ensure effective coordination between civil, mechanical, electrical, and other project disciplines.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in fire protection projects, including EPC and/or ITM projects.Proven experience in managing and executing fire protection systems installation, testing, and commissioning.Strong technical knowledge of Fire Alarm, Firefighting, Fire Pumps, Sprinkler Systems, FM-200, and Clean Agent Systems.Good understanding of NFPA, FM Global, and applicable local fire protection codes and standards.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, project specifications, and technical documentation.Experience in project planning, scheduling, resource management, and cost control.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.Strong communication, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.Previous experience in industrial projects is preferred.Key SkillsFire Protection SystemsFire Alarm & Firefighting SystemsEPC & ITM ProjectsProject Management & ExecutionNFPA & FM Global StandardsTesting & CommissioningTechnical DocumentationProject Planning & SchedulingCost Control & OptimizationStakeholder & Subcontractor ManagementInterested candidates are encouraged to apply through LinkedIn Easy Apply.
